This is an accurate simulation of train dynamic behaviour when running on a specific line, The program calculates timetables and outputs performance graphs depicting any desired operational parameter, including power/energy demands. The software was initially developed in Quick Basic and was later upgraded to Visual Basic in order to enhance functionality, usability and versatility.

• Preliminary Study for a railway maintenance depot in Agios Savvas, Athens

  January 1995 – 1998

  Conceptual design for a stabling and running maintenance facility to cover most needs of Athens Metro Line 3 (Spata Airport- Aegaleo). This was planned to precede revenue service of Phase I extensions, nonetheless it was delayed by about a decade. The final result deviates considerably from the project described herein due to major design modifications by the contractors involved.
